episode I. مراكش

Marrakech.

Marrakech. Throbbing heart, a labyrinth where the clamours and continuous sound of car horns contrasts with the silence of the homeless, spending the day at the side of the trafficked arterials.

finding the way to the phoenix's nest

The last part of the report on Fraine.

The silhouette of the wind turbin blades on top of the surrounding mountains contrasts with the traditional look of the dwellings.

A population of about two thousand inhabitants at the beginning of the twentieth century shrunk to less than five hundred. During the past century, many left to the coast, Rome, Switzerland, New Jersey and South America in search of a new life. And in the summertime many families do come back. The descendants of the emigrants meet up at Mater Domini sanctuary and children play for the first time in the streets where their great grandparents used to see each other.
